Q: Are the pearls genuine?

A: Yes! They are imported directly from pearl farms in south parts of China.

Q: How do I know that the pearls are genuine?

A: An easy way to tell the difference between genuine pearl and imitation pearl is the “tooth” test. Rub pearls slowly across the front teeth, if feel smooth and no any resistance, it is imitation pearl, if feel gritty or sandy, it is genuine pearl. This “grittiness” is from the crystalline structure of nacre that forms genuine pearls.

Q: What are the international shipping rates?

A: 1) Canada Post Standard Shipping (10 business days, no tracking) $7.99. 2) Canada Post Registered Mail (7 business days with tracking # and insurance): $17.99.

Q: Which countries do you ship to?

A: We ship to most Western European Countries, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, North America.

Q: Do you provide certificate and appraisal?

A: Yes, We will hire third party to provide the certificate and appraisal. Additional fee will apply according to what the service provider charge.

Q: Do you provide customized order?

A: Yes, additional fee may apply.

Q: How should I return the merchandise if not satisfied?

A: When you return/exchange items, please declare "Returned merchandise" on the envelop or package to avoid unnecessary custom charges. At the same time, please write down order # and your name in order to speed up the refund/exchange process and send the item(s) to:

We will send you full refund minus the actual shipping postage upon receiving the returned merchandise. Customers will be responsible for the shipping postage for returning package.

Q: How should I expect my refund?

A: We will issue the refund by using the same payment method you paid.

Q: How can you sell your pearl jewelries at so low price?

A: Here is how it works. Generally, wholesalers in originating countries who buy from the pearl farm mark up %50 of the price. Importers in North America who buy from the wholesalers mark up another %50 of the price, smaller distributors who buy from the importers mark up additional %50. Finally the retailers (local jewelry stores) who buy from small distributors mark up %300 - %400. When the merchandise reaches consumers, its price is 10 - 13 times higher than the pearl farm price. But we are specialized pearl dealer. We import our pearls directly from pearl farms. We eliminated all middle mans. Further more, we are pure online company, we cut all costs of running a brick and motor store. That is why we can sell at the lowest price.

Q: What is the difference between akoya pearls and freshwater pearls?

A: Akoya pearls are saltwater cultured pearls commonly known as cultured pearl. Generally they are rounder, more lustrous and more valuable than freshwater cultured pearls.

Q: How do you grade your pearls?

A: We grade our pearls AAA+ (highest gem quality), AAA, AAA-, AA+, AA, AA-, A+, A, A- (lowest quality).

Q: What kind of payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept major credit cards such as Master and Visa. We also accept bank money order, bank draft, and bank wire. We do not accept personal check and postal money order.
